atlanta falcons rookie James Pierce Jr.. Facing intense scrutiny over an incident involving his ex-girlfriend, Ricky Jackson. Pierce was arrested in Miami on multiple charges, including assault, after he allegedly rammed his car into Jackson’s vehicle during an argument.

The linebacker was arrested by officials after a brief car chase on Saturday, and Mike Garafolo shared his list of charges on X (formerly Twitter).

“#falcon James Pierce Jr. was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (two counts), aggravated stalking and fleeing/eluding police, Garafolo wrote.@WPLGLocal10 Pierce was reportedly arrested after crashing his car following a police pursuit. “

The rookie could face up to five charges, including assault and evading police. Reports say the incident with WNBA star Ricky Jackson began as a domestic dispute but escalated when Pierce allegedly rammed his Lamborghini into Jackson’s car multiple times in an attempt to prevent her from calling police.

Pierce was later involved in a car chase with police before crashing near Northwest 103rd Avenue and 66th Street, leading to his arrest.

While details are still emerging, the linebacker appears to be in serious trouble, the Atlanta Falcons said.

“We are aware of an incident that occurred in Miami involving James Pierce Jr.,” the statement read. “We are gathering additional information and will not be making any further comment on open legal matters at this time.”

After a promising rookie season and becoming a key cog on the Falcons’ defense, Pierce now faces a possible lengthy suspension and possibly jail time if he’s found guilty.

James Pierce Jr.’s relationship with ex-girlfriend Ricki Jackson continues to take a darker turn as new details emerge about a public family feud. Further reports shed more light on the incident after he was arrested on multiple charges, including assault.

Andy Slater shared the update on X (formerly Twitter), claiming it all started after Pierce stalked Jackson on Saturday.

“This entire incident started after Pierce Jr. allegedly stalked his ex from his car,” Slater wrote. “From what I understand, (he) tried to get into her car at the intersection. She sped away but he continued to chase her.”

As of this writing, Pierce remains incarcerated at the Turner-Guilford Knight Correctional Center with bond yet to be set.
