Shepherd joins eA streamlined company in T20 World Cup history
With the hat-trick, Shepard became the 10th player in the history of the T20 World Cup to achieve this feat. Australian pace legend Brett Lee scored his first hat-trick in the race, setting the benchmark for previous events.

Sheppard’s heroics didn’t end with the hat-trick. He went on to claim a five-wicket win and emerged as the best bowler of the game. Scotland were chasing 183 for 3 for 114 after 13 overs but completely lost steam after Sheppard’s explosive spell.
