Guy Fieri Recognize the true heroes of this country.
The 58-year-old Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives star was interrupted by actor Kevin Costner during an interview with Fox News Digital at the Fanatics party ahead of Super Bowl LX, and the two talked about their shared passion for giving back to veterans and first responders.
“I heard you had this amazing program in Santa Barbara for veterans and first responders, and I heard a bunch of my friends say you and I should work together,” Fieri told Costner.
He went on to call what Costner has done for veterans and first responders a “real thing,” adding that he “wanted to help because we have to celebrate all the people who have made this country free.”

Ferry told Fox News Digital and Costner that the motto of his Guy Ferry Foundation is “to serve those who serve us.”
“So we go around and when there’s a disaster, what we do is feed first responders,” he said of his foundation. “Then when we don’t have a disaster, we just go around the country and recognize all the first responders and veterans. Going to veterans homes, going to military bases, etc. I’ve heard about the project you’re doing in Santa Barbara. I’d love to do that. “

Costner is an executive board member of One805, a nonprofit that was formed in the aftermath of the wildfires and mudslides that devastated Santa Barbara County in 2018 to “Enhance and maintain readiness“, safety and resilience” of first responders.

“I did so little and got so much praise,” Costner told Ferry. “But yeah, we kind of highlighted these men and women.”
“Freedom is not free,” Ferri replied.
Fieri previously spoke about the importance of respecting the country’s veterans and first responders in an interview with Fox News Digital, saying: ” For them “not enough is being done” Ordinary citizens should “pay more attention” to the military and veterans.
“Every day in this country we should be celebrating our veterans, active duty military and first responders,” Fieri said.
