Lindsey Vonn’s A remarkable comeback at the Olympics is almost complete.
Vonn completed the women’s downhill training on Friday and Saturday, a big test since she tore her ACL during a World Cup race a week ago. Once her training is complete, she will take part in Sunday’s 5:30 a.m. ET Women’s downhill final.
Vonn will also compete in the women’s downhill team event and women’s super-G.

The 41-year-old will participate in the women’s team’s official comprehensive workout on Monday, February 9 at 5:30 a.m. ET. She will then compete in the actual competition on Tuesday, February 10 at 4:30am ET and 8am ET.
Her final race is Thursday’s women’s super-G at 5:30 a.m. ET.
After Vonn suffered an injury last week, many thought it would keep her out of the Olympics, but the Minnesota native has fought through it. On Day X, she clarified that her ACL was 100% ruptured.

She made a stunning return to the sport last year after a nearly six-year absence from competition. She had a partial titanium replacement surgery on her right knee in 2024 and subsequently returned.

The Team USA legend became the second most successful woman in World Cup history with 84 wins. She has won eight world championship medals.
Vonn won gold in the downhill and bronze in the super-G at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and a bronze in the downhill at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics. She hopes to increase her collection in Italy.
