The head of Dubai-based logistics group DP World exchanged messages with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein about sexual experiences, according to emails released by the US Department of Justice.

Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, one of Dubai’s most senior business figures, maintains a relationship with Epstein long after the financier was convicted of soliciting prostitution from a minor in 2008, documents show.

The emails include Sulayem describing women Epstein appears to have had sexual relations with, sometimes apparently sending images as attachments.

At one point in June 2013, Sulayem sent Epstein an email which contains a series of details about an individual, including age, weight, height and bra size.

The email read: “Dear Jeffrey This is the one I went with in Paris do you think she is a he??” Epstein replied: “The hands look like mine”.

Four images appear to be attached to Sulayem’s email, although their content was not included in the emails released by the DoJ.

In the same month, after discussing religion, Sulayem told Epstein: “I did not (sic) sample a new 100% Russian woman on my yacht.”

The Emirati businessman has been group chair and chief executive of DP World since 2016, having been appointed as chair in 2007. The company is best known in the UK for buying P&O Ferries in 2019, and has investments in ports and infrastructure around the world.

Sulayem is one of several prominent people revealed in DoJ files to have had long-standing ties to Epstein, including after Epstein’s conviction.

In September 2015, Sulayem wrote Epstein about a “girl” he was involved with, saying it was “the best sex I’ve ever had with an amazing body”.

In November 2013, Sulays cents and Epstein’s email saying: “By the way the Ukrainian and the Moldavian arrived. Big disappointment the Moldavian is not as attractive as the picture while the Ukrainian is very nice.” Epstein replied: “photo shop”.

In 2017, Epstein sent I will send a link on a website that provides escorts in Italy. Sulayem replied “Wow”.

It appears that Sulayem sent Epstein a price list for prostitution services in December 2013, wrote: “I was in Tokyo recently and I tried full massage.”

The list includes clear details about the types of sexual services that a “full massage” establishment includes, as well as the cost of more “popular” workers.

In June 2013, Sulayem had SPOKE Epstein in a meeting he met with someone, suggested that he was “one if (sic) us”.

When Epstein replied “no, lots of drugs”, Sulayem said: “By (sic) my god no, no, I only do women thanks to the heads I stay away.”

The two men remained in contact until less than a year before Epstein’s death by suicide in 2019, according to the emails.

The FT reported earlier this week that Sulayem helped arrange a Russian “masseuse” from Epstein’s “private spa” to train at the Rixos hotel in Antalya, Turkey, at the request of the convicted pedophile.

DP World declined to comment.
