What happened after Savannah Guthrie’s mother disappeared?

Police in Arizona say they believe Nancy Guthrie, the missing mother of US news anchor Savannah Guthrie, is “still out there” after disappearing from her home this weekend. Police said they have not yet identified a suspect in her disappearance.

At a media briefing Thursday, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said investigators are assuming she is alive and “will continue to think that way until she is found.”

Here’s what happened since the 84-year-old grandmother was reported missing on Sunday.
