Researchers use AI to detect cancer




On World Cancer Day, attention is focused on the world’s first trial showing that artificial intelligence is helping doctors identify more cases of breast cancer during routine examinations. Researchers in Sweden say the results could lead to wider use of artificial intelligence to ease the workload of radiologists, while stressing that the technology is designed to support clinicians, not replace them.
