This week’s episode of WWE NXT saw a Superstar jump off the title match and get hit with a ladder. Afterwards, the attacker, Kelnai Jordan, said she interrupted Laura Weiss.

Jordan was spotted in a backstage interview clip where he was asked why he attacked Vice. Lani gave an amused smile as she said she broke the former MMA fighter’s hands so she couldn’t knock anyone out.

“I just broke Lola Vice’s hand, how can she knock anyone out again?”

Notably, Vice is in a triple threat match with Izzi Dame and Thea Hail for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. However, her quest to become the new champion is interrupted by Jordan. With this admission, Lani has now changed her tune and an update on Vice’s health may be coming soon when she comes clean.

Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice debut at WWE Royal Rumble 2026

At the 2026 Royal Rumble, Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice debuted in a 30-women match. The reigning NXT Women’s Champion also joined the pair, Jesse Jayneand Saul Rucka.

Ruca rounded out the top three along with Tiffany Stratton and race winner Liv Morgan. She has a chance to compete with Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship.

Lola Vice, on the other hand, has been given a chance to compete for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. As such, Kehlani Jordan is the only woman who failed to get a big moment at the WWE Royal Rumble and has nothing since returning to grow the brand.

So, this could be the reason for the inaugural NXT Women’s NA Champion and former TNA Knockouts Champion’s turn. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Jordan and Vice.
