France: What strategy could the RN adopt if Marine Le Pen is convicted?




French prosecutors are seeking to uphold the convictions and disqualify Marine Le Pen in her appeal for alleged fraud, which could significantly affect the 2027 presidential election. If convicted, the National Assembly (RN) could consider an appeal against the decision, reduce her period of ineligibility or promote Jordan Bardella as the leading candidate.
