NBC “Today” co-host Savannah Guthrie thanked her followers on Monday for praying for her mother, Nancy, who authorities say may have been abducted from her home in Arizona.
According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, Nancy Guthrie was last seen around 9:30 p.m. Saturday when her family dropped her off at their residence near East Skyline Boulevard and North Campbell Avenue, north of Tucson.
Savannah Guthrie posted on Instagram Monday night that she believes in prayer and God.
“We believe in prayer. We believe in a chorus of voices in love and hope. We believe in kindness. We believe in humanity. Most of all, we believe in Him,” she wrote, along with a photo that read, “Please pray.”

“Thank you for joining us in praying for our beloved mother, our dearest Nancy, a woman of deep faith and a kind and faithful servant. Please join us in your prayers and trust that she will be inspired by them in this moment,” the post continued.
Savannah Guthrie added: “We need you.”
The reporter also quoted a Bible and seemed to be trying to remain optimistic about his mother’s disappearance.

“‘He will maintain perfect peace for those whose hearts are steadfast and trust in the Lord.’ Isaiah’s verses are ever-appropriate for all of us,” she wrote.
“Bring her home,” Savannah Guthrie concluded.
