Pam Bondi slams ‘failed reporter’ Don Lemon over Minnesota church attack

minister of justice Pam Bundy Former CNN anchor Don Lemon criticized his “unlawful” conduct during an anti-ICE protest at a Minnesota church on “Hannity” on Monday, calling it “journalism.”

“So based on his (Lemmon’s) theory, anyone with a camera could come in and attack a church like this and riot in the church on a Sunday morning,” she said.

“You can’t do that in this country. It’s illegal and we’re going to prosecute you and you’re going to be held accountable. Even if you’re a failed journalist with a camera in your hand, it doesn’t matter. You can’t do that.”

After Bundy made the above remarks Two more people were arrested Anti-ICE protesters invaded a Minnesota church on Monday.

“These individuals committed crimes under the FACE Act and they will be held accountable,” she explained. “Nine of them have been charged and you don’t do that in our country. If you do, we will come after you.”

On January 18, hundreds of anti-ICE demonstrators disrupted church services. St. Paul, Minnesotaprotesting a pastor they accuse of aiding the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement efforts in Minnesota.

Bundy described it as an “offensive” bombing of targets chapeldetailing the injuries suffered by a woman during the incident.

“The children were crying and parents were being prevented from going upstairs to take their children out of Sunday school,” she said. “A group of women ran out of the side door. Multiple people fell on the ice. One woman suffered a serious injury to her arm and had to go to hospital.”

“These parishioners thought they were going to be shot,” Bundy added.

The Attorney General claimed the incident was caused by “resistance operation,” involving lemons.

“They met in a parking lot about two miles away as people were lining up for a church service,” Bundy told host Sean Hannity. “They came to this church in a caravan on Sunday morning and infiltrated the church service. “

She also accused Lemon of physically preventing a parishioner from leaving the church.

According to the indictment, all nine individuals are accused of interfering with the freedom of worship of others. Free access to the clinic entrance (FACE) Act, which protects the right to worship freely in places of worship.

Lemon strongly disputed the indictment, calling his participation in the protest a “journalistic act” and explaining that he was merely covering the event rather than participating.

“Fuck off, whoever you think is going to stop me from reporting. If you think you’re going to stop me from reporting, I’m going to say fuck off.” Lemon said on Instagram on Monday.

All nine people involved have been arrested, and Bundy said the Justice Department will continue to prioritize protecting places of worship.

“We live in the United States of America and you will have the right to worship safely and freely in a house of worship,” she asserted. “Whether it’s a church, synagogue, temple, mosque or any house of worship in this country, you will be safe.”
