Weekend ICE sweep arrests multiple pedophiles, murderers, elder abusers: DHS

First up is Fox: A man convicted of murder, “deadly conduct,” sexual abuse of minors and the elderly was among the “most serious” illegal immigration offenders caught across the country this weekend by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), according to the agency. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Monday.

“Over the weekend, ICE law enforcement arrested pedophiles, murderers and drug dealers from American communities,” said Tricia McLaughlin, assistant secretary of Homeland Security. “If you come to our country illegally and violate our laws, we will find you, we will arrest you, and you will never come back.”

A number of pedophiles were arrested over the weekend, with one man convicted of “persistent sexual abuse” of a child and another man convicted of aggravated sexual assault of an elderly/disabled person. Martin Martinez-Gaspar, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, was convicted of multiple child abuse charges in Los Angeles, and Jose Ivan Trevino, also an illegal immigrant from Mexico, was convicted of aggravated sexual assault of an elderly/disabled person in Hidalgo County, Texas.

Last weekend, Toua Lo, an illegal immigrant from Laos, was also arrested by ICE. Lo was convicted in Sacramento, California, of lewd and lascivious conduct with a child under the age of 14, according to the Department of Homeland Security. Meanwhile, Alejandro Saucedo, an illegal Mexican immigrant living in Whiteville, North Carolina, was arrested by ICE this weekend after being convicted of child molestation. Dario Solis-Salvador, an illegal immigrant from Guatemala, was arrested by ICE this weekend after being convicted of two counts of child endangerment in Ford County, Kansas.

In addition to sex crimes, federal agents have caught illegal aliens convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, trafficking in fentanyl, “deadly conduct,” and inflicting “serious bodily harm,” according to the Department of Homeland Security.

They include Julio Cesar Pimentel-German, an illegal immigrant from the Dominican Republic who was convicted of trafficking the deadly drug fentanyl in Massachusetts; illegal immigration Carlos Cortez-Aquino, of Mexico, was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Fort Meyers, Florida.

Trump backs Kristi Noem amid immigration enforcement unrest, makes ‘radical left’ comments

Isidro Velazquez-Rodas and Abel Hernandez-Espinal, both originally from Honduras but now living in Houston, Texas, were arrested after being convicted of “deadly conduct,” the Department of Homeland Security said.

Meanwhile, a man from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, was arrested by ICE this weekend on burglary charges.

Other arrests included aliens convicted of possession of burglary tools and second-degree assault causing great bodily injury. DHS also identified a second person convicted of assault with a deadly weapon in California, Fernando Sandoval-Cruz, who was arrested over the weekend.

“President Trump and Secretary Noem empower ICE law enforcement to enforce, arrest and deport public security threats to our country,” McLuren continued in a Department of Homeland Security press release regarding ICE’s weekend roundup of illegal immigrants.

The release also includes a link to a Department of Homeland Security website where U.S. residents across the country can search for criminal illegal immigrants arrested in their communities.

“The biggest problem facing our country is that the Democrats are weak on crime! They want to protect criminals, violent and vicious as they may be, at the expense of our great American citizens and patriots,” President Trump Said on Truth Society Sunday. “This is not what America is about and it never will be!”
