CAS said its panel “carefully considered” the arguments put forward by both sides.

Ueland argued that Canada’s decision to cancel the athlete’s competition violated Olympic rules and asked that she be given full points for the competition. The defendants argued that even if Ueland received points, it would not necessarily mean she would qualify for Team USA, and that Team USA would likely need to pull a driver who was already qualified. in italy.
