There are new titles on Xbox Game Pass for the second half of January, and leading the charge is Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. The follow-up to the 2011 game allows players to brutalize aliens in the worst possible way in true Warhammer 40K fashion.
Xbox Game Pass offers hundreds of games that you can play on your Xbox Series X, Xbox Series SXbox One, Amazon Fire TV, smart TV and PC or mobile device, with prices starting at $10 per month. While all Game Pass tiers offer you a library of games, Game Pass Ultimate ($30 per month) gives you access to most games, as well as Day 1 games, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 7added monthly.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marines 2

Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2 is the long-awaited sequel, with players stepping into the boots of Lieutenant Demetrian Titus, a Primaris Space Marine fighting to protect the Imperium of Man from terrifying alien threats like the Tyranids and forces of Chaos in a brutal sci-fi war setting. The game builds on the lore of the original title with a new campaign, deep customization, large-scale galactic battles and up-close brutal violence.
Quarantine Zone: The Final Review

Quarantine Zone: Final Investigation is not your typical zombie apocalypse game. Instead of fighting hordes of zombies, you have to check if the people from the wasteland will join your group or if they are a threat that needs to be eliminated. Imperfectly checking if someone is infected can mean the end of what that person has left.
Resident Evil Village
Available now for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass subscribers.
Later this month, the ninth entry in the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil Requiemwill make his debut. Before that, it’s a good idea to check out the eighth mainline game, Resident Evil Village. In RE Village, players once again take on the role of Ethan Winters, whose seemingly happy ending from Resident Evil 7 ends not so happily.
MIO: Memories of Orbit
Available now for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass subscribers.
MIO: Memory in Orbit is a Metroidvania action platformer where you control an agile robot named MIO who explores a large, decaying spaceship called the Vessel. The goal is to revive the ship’s lost memories and prevent its imminent closure through exploration, combat and ability upgrades.
Director’s Cut to Death Stranding
Available now for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass subscribers.
Director’s Cut to Death Stranding is an expanded version of the original post-apocalyptic action game where you play as Sam Bridges, delivering supplies and reconnecting isolated communities in a devastated America. It includes new missions, additional game features such as a firing range and racing elements, and technical improvements on modern platforms such as improved graphics and performance. The Director’s Cut also adds quality-of-life upgrades and additional content while keeping the core narrative of hope and connection intact.
Roadcraft
Available now for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass subscribers.
RoadCraft is a vehicle simulation game where you lead a disaster recovery company tasked with clearing debris and rebuilding infrastructure with a fleet of heavy machinery. Players operate and manage more than 40 different vehicles to clear rubble, repair roads and bridges and plan efficient logistics routes, with the option to play solo or in four-player cooperative mode. The game combines detailed construction simulation and recovery with strategic planning as you restore areas destroyed by natural disasters.
Ninja Gaiden Ragebound

Ninja Gaiden Ragebound is the return of the 2D ninja action platforming game, which came out last year, along with its 3D cousin, Ninja Gaiden 4. This time, a young ninja of the Hayabusa clan, Kenji Mozu, is tasked with fighting the demons that have invaded the world.
The Talos Principle 2
Available now for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass subscribers.
The Talos Principle 2 is a first-person puzzle game that mixes philosophical storytelling with complex environmental challenges. Players solve intricate puzzles using tools like connectors, lasers and drones while exploring themes of consciousness, identity and what it means to be human. The game expands on its predecessor with deeper layers of narrative, better world design and more varied puzzle mechanics.

Anno: Mutationem is an action RPG that mixes fast-paced combat with exploration of interconnected cyberpunk environments. The game combines pixel art with 3D scenes to create a visually stunning experience based on futuristic themes.
Drop the Duchy
Available now for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass subscribers.
Drop Duchy is a hybrid puzzle strategy game that mixes tetromino-style block kingdom placement and combat. Players place blocks to generate resources, recruit troops and shape their duchy, with each placement affecting strategy and progress. The game mixes puzzle mechanics with rogue-lite and deck-building elements for a highly repeatable run.

Indika is a narrative adventure game where you follow a young nun on a surreal journey of self-discovery in an alternative 19th century Russia, accompanied by an unusual companion who may be the devil himself. Released in 2024, the game mixes exploration, environmental puzzles and philosophical themes about faith and authority in a strange, dreamlike world.
Final Fantasy II
Available now for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass subscribers.
Final Fantasy II didn’t originally come to the US back when it was first released on the NES in 1988, but it has since been re-released several times for Final Fantasy fans who want to play the game they missed. The revamped 2D game is four young orphans who go on an incredible adventure to try and save the world.
Games leaving Game Pass in January
While Microsoft added games to Game Pass, it also removed six more from the service on January 31. So if you still need to finish your campaign and any side quests, you now have to buy these games separately.
