Manchester United legend wayne rooney believe Mohamed Salah His career at Liverpool is coming to an end. He claimed the Egyptian had been in poor form recently and that his leg was giving out.

talking about the wayne rooney showRooney said Salah’s peak era is over and he needs to consider the next step. The Manchester United legend added that the Liverpool star is getting old and there is no way he will be back to his best. He said:

“You can imagine it will be at the end of the season. I think he’s an unbelievable player for what he’s done for the Premier League and for Liverpool. I think he’s one of the best players ever to play in the Premier League. But I just think, unfortunately, his leg went a little bit. I also saw him at the Africa Cup of Nations and he wasn’t moving as fast as he used to, through no fault of his own.”

“It happens to players. I think you probably saw the end of him from the summer onwards. I think everyone could see that and it was the same with Virgil van Dijk at the beginning of the season and it really continued throughout the season. He didn’t really have a great season so that’s how I felt.”

Salah was dropped from the starting line-up by Arne Slott in November, with the Liverpool legend launching a swipe at the manager weeks later. He claims the club and coach tried to force him out but decided to stay after internal negotiations.

Liverpool legend believes Mohamed Salah will leave this summer

Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy claims Mohamed Salah will leave at the end of the season. He believes only a managerial change at Anfield can keep the Egyptian at the club, telling Best Betting Sites:

“I think so, yes. I know he’s on a longer contract, but with the way things are going and the way the team is doing and how he’s doing, I think most people would be surprised if he stayed another year. The only caveat is if a new coach comes in and really wants to build a team around him, try to keep him for another year and have that conversation. I don’t know Salah personally, but maybe he’ll be given new impetus, new life, a different manager.”

Mohamed Salah has been linked with a move to the Saudi Professional League.
