The 2025 NFL season has entered its final stage, and the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will face off in the Super Bowl on February 8. The Patriots held a farewell rally for the team on Sunday, and they took aim at a cheeky dig at their AFC East rivals, the Buffalo Bills.

“You know who didn’t have a Super Bowl sendoff today: Bill Mafia!” former Patriots quarterback Scott Zolak said on stage. “All tables in Buffalo are safe.”

Fans had some wild reactions when they heard Zolac’s comments and Patriots players appearing to mock the Bills before their Super Bowl game against the Seahawks.

“It’s okay, Karama will be back for these punks,” one person wrote on Twitter.

“Well, it’s stupid and it’s subpar. I know this team is young, but, well, we’ve been through this before. That’s it,” A third person commented.

The Patriots ended Buffalo’s season-long dominance in the AFC East. The Bills have won the division five times before but sit second in the AFC East this season behind New England.

The Bills made the playoffs, but lost to the Denver Broncos 33-30 in overtime in the divisional round.

Derek MeyerEntering his second year in the NFL, he will lead the Patriots’ offense in Super Bowl Sunday. New England selected the quarterback with the third overall pick in the 2024 draft.

Meyer is also competing for the MVP award this season. However, the Patriots quarterback will be primarily focused on getting his team past Seattle in the big game.
