Nasr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly opposed to Karim Benzema moving from Etihad to Al Hilal in the current transfer window, according to Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu. It is said that Ronaldo believes that this will harm the principle of fair competition in the Saudi Professional League.
Karim Benzema appears to be on the verge of leaving the Etihad after failing to reach an agreement with the club’s hierarchy over a contract extension. As a result, Al Hilal has reportedly taken advantage of the turmoil and recently submitted a formal offer to sign the former Real Madrid striker.

While Benzema is open to the move, the Saudi Investment Fund has yet to approve the transfer. Additionally, Cristiano Ronaldo is trying to block the transfer, as Sabuncuoglu posted on X (via Kula):
