
It’s about that time of year again: the Super Bowland especially, the ads. It’s usually when we get a new or first look at some upcoming film, and it seems the tradition doesn’t hold much. The big superheroes of 2026.
For one The deadline report released Sunday night, Marvel Studios is reportedly not doing any Big Game promo for either Avengers: Doomsday or Spider-Man: A New Day next week The outlet didn’t give any potential reasons why, but in the two films’ defense, they’re coming out in late December and mid-July, respectively. So if it’s true, maybe it’s because it’s not important to sell it in February as it is for easier Disney films like. Hoppers and The Mandalorian and Grogu, which Deadline estimates will get spots because their March and May dates are closer on the calendar.
Coming to DC movies this year Supergirl and Clayface, this is a big question mark. Deadline speculates that Warner Bros. will continue to sit the actual Super Bowl alongside Netflix and Apple, and instead put something on the week before the game so it can be seen. from in Supergirl dropping June 26, which is more likely to get a promo that is September-bound Clayface.
As for non-superhero stuff, Deadline says we’ll likely see ads for Scream 7 (February 27), Revelation Day (June 12), and Toy Story 5 (June 19). Illumination is reportedly looking to drop a new promo for Super Mario Galaxy (April 1) with a first look at Minions 3 (July 1). Let’s see what the right Deadline is all week, including Super Bowl LX on February 8.
