Cameco Corporation (NYSE:CCJ) is one of the world’s leading suppliers of uranium fuel to power the ongoing nuclear power renaissance.

Cameco Corporation (NYSE:CCJ) continued its rally and hit an all-time high on January 28th following a rapid rise in the price of nuclear fuel. U.S. uranium futures are currently hovering around $101 a pound, the highest since February 2024, with bets of high long-term demand.

Uranium has been in the spotlight since last year after the Trump administration announced plans to significantly increase U.S. nuclear power capacity and cut regulations for building new nuclear power plants. In addition, the authorities announced funding for local uranium suppliers and enrichers to ensure the country’s energy security and reduce dependence on imports from Russia.

After the recent rally, the stock price of Cameco Corporation (NYSE:CCJ) has gained nearly 166% over the past year.
