China accused of erasing Mongolian language and culture from the Internet, new research shows




When the Mongolian language began to disappear from classrooms in northern China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, many turned to the Internet to preserve their language and culture. A new investigation shows that these remaining online spaces are being targeted by the Chinese government.
