On the third ball of the 12th over of India’s innings, Vedant Trivedi made the most of a free hit, pulling Mohammad Sayyam’s short delivery over deep mid-wicket for a six.
However, Sanyam responded with a long ball aimed at the stumps on the next ball. Trivedi kept his cool, struck straight back and stayed safely within his crease without attempting any runs.
Sayyam showed clear frustration. After catching the ball in the overs, he angrily threw the ball onto the batting end stumps. The delivery hit the stumps but had no effect as Trivedi was never in danger of being run out, making the act an unnecessary act of aggression.

India’s U19 World Cup clash with Pakistan has once again attracted attention with the two captains avoiding the customary handshake. India skipper Ayush Maitre and Pakistan skipper Farhan Yousuf completed the toss without exchanging greetings.
