“They actually have some very good finishers. They have Sherfan Rutherford, Jason Holder and Romario Shepherd. They can all play the role of finisher. Shimron Hetmyer is also a finisher if he continues to bat. He has been used as a finisher in the IPL,” he said.
The cricketer-turned-commentator added that the two-time champions have a strong batting line-up that includes Brandon King and Shay Hope.
“They have plenty of firepower. Their finishing is unbelievable and their batting has a lot of power no matter what. They have two good openers in Brandon King and Shai Hope, and Shai Hope is a good three-format player,” Chopra commented.
West Indies will kick off their 2026 T20 World Cup campaign against Scotland in Kolkata on February 7. They will then face England and Nepal in Mumbai on February 11 and 15 respectively before returning to Kolkata to conclude the group stage against Italy on February 19.
