in a video Shared the former on his YouTube channel ‘Aakash Chopra’ India opener wonders how Bumrah got dropped in the fifth T20I against New Zealand.
“The big question is what happened to Jasprit Bumrah. So many sixes. We used to joke when Sahibzada Farhan made the documentary, but when did he get hit with so many sixes?” he said.
Chopra observed that Bumrah was bowling faster than before, but noted that the ace seamer was neither economical nor effective.
“This was the most expensive stretch of his T20I career. Four years later, he conceded over 50 runs. He was hit for six, conceded runs, and didn’t pick up a wicket. Bumrah’s pace has picked up, but he’s not usually that easy to hit. Heart skipping a beat,” he elaborated.
Jasprit Bumrah His four-wicket haul was smashed to four sixes and five fours. Finn Allen and Rachin Ravindra hit six each as Daryl Mitchell hit him with two sixes.
