Ready to ditch TikTok? Check Out These 9 Apps for Short Form Video Alternatives

Reels is a video feature on Instagram that allows you to film, edit and post video clips on the app. Clips must be between three and 90 seconds long. To get started, make sure you have the latest version of the Instagram app on iOS or Android. You can see Reels by swiping right to open the camera and tapping Reels. (Read our full Tutorial on reels here.)

If you use Vine or TikTok, Reels should be familiar. On the left side of the screen, there are many filters, songs to add, fixed text options and other effects.

You can easily exchange and post on your Instagram page or story. Additionally, you can save a Reel in your drafts to continue working on it later.
