In a recent update, the developers of Escape Tsunami For Brainrots released a much-needed trading system. You can now trade Brainrot of different rarities with friends or other players and expand your collection. Similar to other Roblox experiences, accepting trade requests is optional, so you can choose who to barter with.
Here’s how you can initiate or accept trade offers to earn Brainrots.
Escape the Tsunami For Brainrots Trading Guide

Trading functionality can be toggled on, off, or only for “Friends” in the Settings menu. To change your trading preferences, press the gear icon at the top of the screen, scroll down, and click the button next to Trade Request.
Transactions are server-specific, meaning the transaction invitee and recipient must be on the same server. You can invite your contacts or trade Brainrot with players already on the server, provided their trade request is set to “On”.
To initiate a transaction, please follow the instructions below:
- Press the “Trade” button next to “Store” on the left side of the screen.
- Select the player on the server that you want to send a trade request to.
- Wait for other players to accept your request.
- Once they accept, the transaction menu will open on the screen.
- Click the “+” icon on the menu and select the brain rot you want to offer to other players.
- Let other players add stupidity to the communication.
- If you are satisfied, click the “Accept” button at the bottom of the transaction menu.
- The transaction is completed five seconds after both parties confirm the transaction.
If you are not satisfied with the transaction during this process, please press the “Decline” button. Then, renegotiate with other players via the chat function.
Accepting trade requests is easy. If a player sends you a request, click the “Accept” button on the screen within the next 10 seconds. This will open the trading menu and you can then follow the steps above.
Divine Brain Rot, which is at the highest level of rarity, can also be traded. Check this guide Learn how to get this type of role.
Why is trading useful in Escape from Tsunami?

Trading is a convenient way to acquire brain rot that is not part of your collection. While you can receive characters as gifts, trading is better because it provides some brain-damaging compensation to the other player/trader.
Trading in Escape Tsunami For Brainrots is also useful for building trust between players. Most players tend to fight, hitting others with baseball bats and other items while trying to collect brain rot from areas. Trade requests or gifts are a way of showing good faith to other players.
