‘Creeping fascism’: Protesters in Milan strongly criticize the deployment of ICE at the Winter Olympics




Protesters gathered on Saturday in Milan’s Piazza XXV Aprile, a square named after the date of Italy’s liberation from Nazism in 1945, to protest the deployment of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents during the upcoming Winter Olympics. Protesters in the Italian city denounced what they called “creeping fascism” in the US.
