He set up both of the visitors’ goals with corners that caused chaos inside the penalty area.
The first strike, which came after 27 minutes, was scrambled over the line by Martin Zubimendi after a scramble in the box.
The second, which came 10 minutes later, was caused by a disastrous save by Leeds.
Maduke’s second inswinging corner went straight into the net, with goalkeeper Carl Darlow failing to deal with the danger.
He punched past his own man before seeing the ball drop into the back of the net to double Arsenal’s advantage.
After the Gunners went two goals to good at the break, they look to extend their lead at the top to seven points before Manchester City play Tottenham on Sunday.
