Ukrainians skeptical after Russia announced that it agreed to temporarily end the strikes




On January 30, Ukraine awaited signs that Russia was honoring a commitment Donald Trump said he had made to temporarily halt attacks on Ukraine’s power grid, while Kiev and other regions were gripped by one of the harshest winters in years. Russia suggested it would agree to the request; but skepticism remains. Ukraine has said it will not attack unless Russia does as well.
