Italy: Deep cracks appear in a Sicilian town hit by a landslide




The Sicilian town of Niscemi was left floating on the edge of a cliff after days of heavy rain from a cyclone triggered a massive landslide that toppled properties and forced the evacuation of more than 1,500 people. Deep cracks appear in the ground throughout the area, which is why the authorities are under strict surveillance.
