US judge bars prosecutors from seeking death penalty against Luigi Mangione




Luigi Mangione will not face the death penalty in the slaying of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson after a US judge on Friday dismissed murder and weapons charges against the suspect, thwarting efforts by the Trump administration to have him executed.
