While Lopez’s matchup with Stevenson was undoubtedly the highlight of the bill, the undercard does feature some big-name stars, including the likes of Keyshawn Davis and Jarrell Miller.
Two other world title fights were scheduled, but one of them fell through. According to “The Ring” Carlos Adams is no longer fighting Austin Williams for the WBC middleweight title.
Carlos Adams has been forced to withdraw from his WBC middleweight title fight against Austin “Amo” Williams at The Ring VI due to illness, The Ring reports.
According to Williams’ manager Sam Katkowski, a search is underway for a replacement opponent so Williams can remain on the roster. “
Adams was due to play for the first time since a draw with Hamza Shiraz in February 2025, but will now be forced to sit out the sidelines for a longer period of time.
Further world title fights remain on the cards as Lopez defends his WBO super lightweight title against Stevenson in the main event and Bruce Carrington and Carlos Castro battle for the vacant WBC featherweight title.
