The Ukrainian city of Kherson defends itself against drones with French fishing nets

With ever-increasing range, light drones pose a threat to soldiers and civilians alike anywhere near the front line in Ukraine. To help defend against them, authorities in several Ukrainian regions have begun installing nets to protect roads and buildings. It turns out that regular fishing nets do the job just fine – and French fishermen are leading the effort to get them.
