Gems of Part E Book 2: The Dark Side Part 1 Episode 9 begins with JJ walking to school, confused as to why her family hid Aries as her brother. The story happened a few days ago. She lay in her room reliving Kiefer’s rage after her murder. Spend the night outside with Yuri In retreat. After that, he ignored her for several days.

Seeking answers, she went to Kiefer’s house, where he told her he wasn’t home. When Keegan called him, Keefer asked him to be quiet. He is dealing with a serious Watson family dispute in London.

Later, Jiejie met Yuri’s mother, who took her to buy a wedding dress. She apologized for rushing and said she just wanted to get ready earlier. When Jiejie tried on the dress, her mother took a photo of her and sent it to Yuri.

Jiejie feels stressed and realizes that she is not ready to get married. Yuri’s mother shared her past, when Yuri’s father’s family rejected her until Yuri was born. This fear drives her actions. She admits to asking Kiefer to separate Ella from Yuri because Ella is not Japanese.

But his mother said Yuri was heartbroken after the breakup. He dyed his hair and drank a lot. But it was JJ who helped him recover.

Yuri later sent Kiefer a photo of JJ and said he couldn’t wait to marry her. When he got home, Jiejie hugged his grandma happily. Yuri soon arrived with flowers and introduced himself as her future husband. A maid then told JJ someone was waiting for her outside. This person is none other than Kiefer.

He explains his trip to London, but stops when he notices Yuri inside, so he follows him. At dinner, Yuri calls Kiefer his best man, but Kiefer refuses, saying Yuri is his.

Angelo asked for clarification, prompting Kiefer to reveal that he and JJ were dating. Before everyone could react, Angelo received the news that Aries was hospitalized, and everyone rushed out. Later, Jiejie’s grandmother warned her not to mislead the two men and that she must make a decision as soon as possible.

The next day, JJ spoke to Percy on the phone through David. David admitted that he worked under Percy’s contract in exchange for help with his girlfriend. JJ breaks down and David tries to comfort her, but impulsively kisses her. However, Kiefer walks in and attacks David. When JJ tries to explain, Kiefer breaks down and pulls away. The next morning, two cyclists tried to hurt JJ on her way to school.

She was injured but still in school. There, she found a witness who, according to Mayo, accused Kiefer of kissing her and then attacking Kiefer. Keefer then asks each of the boys in Area E about their feelings for JJ. The next day, Jiejie overhears a plan involving her at school.

When she confronts Kiefer, he admits the truth about his plan to use her as revenge against Aries, and Team E realizes this. Kiefer drags her to Area A and says she never belonged in Area E.
