Nothing is announced in a video Thursday that the company has no plans to release a new flagship phone in 2026 and will keep the $799 No Phone 3 as a higher brand option.
Nothing has done it before — last year’s Nothing Phone 3 was a follow-up to the 2023’s Nothing Phone 2. And in the announcement, the company was quick to explain that a lower-cost No Phone 4A is in the works, which makes sense since No released the $349 No Phone 2A and $379 3A in 2024 and early 2025, respectively. The company also released the CMF line of phones, which has been around ever since transferred to its own company.
In the announcement, Nothing CEO Carl Pei said that there is no need to install a new headquarters every year.

“We don’t just make a new flagship every year. We want every upgrade to feel important,” Pei said in the statement.
In addition to a Nothing Phone 4A, the company also teased plans to release more over-ear headphones later this year. $299 No Headphones (1).
There is no announcement that it will not release a flagship phone this year ahead of many anticipated phone launches from other companies. Samsung is likely to announce a new one Galaxy S26 line in the coming weeks, and Apple is rumored to be working on a cheaper iPhone 17E.
