Emmy Award-winning Nigerian filmmaker Joel Katchi Benson is this week’s guest on George Calvin-Smith. He still travels with families who were marked by the horrific kidnapping of their daughters 12 years ago. The breach faded from international headlines, but Benson kept the community in the spotlight. He talks about the dignity offered by African documentaries. The “Mothers of Chibok” appreciate the determination of their subjects to be role models for their remaining children.
