Just hours after Kris Jenner shared photos from her star-studded soiree to celebrate her 70th birthday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were conspicuously missing from her party post.

Jenner celebrated her milestone day in November with a James Bond-themed bash at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s Beverly Hills mansion, and invited a number of Hollywood heavyweights to the lavish event, including Bill Gates, Paris Hilton, Martha Stewart, beyonce and her mother, Tina Knowles, Mariah Carey, Mark Zuckerberg, Oprah Winfrey and Adele.

The royal couple kicked off their Los Angeles date night at the nearby Baby2Baby Gala, where they were spotted supporting family friend Serena Williams as she was honored with the Giving Tree Award. This annual event raises a record-breaking $18 million to support Baby2Baby, a national nonprofit that provides basic necessities to children in need.

“Mom and Meghan have been friends for several years and they have a very sweet relationship,” Kim admitted. “We took a picture and then I think we were all looking through them and we were all communicating about what we were going to post. We’ve never been people to post without permission – that’s not who we are.”

King continued, “We were told that it would be really cool to post this, and then after it was posted, I think they realized it was Memorial Day and they didn’t want to see it at the party even though it had been posted, and then it was deleted. I think they realized, well, this was stupid.”

“It’s like a charity event, so that’s nice, but maybe not partying and dancing on the dance floor,” King said. “So we took them down in honor of Memorial Day.”

King admitted that when dealing with social media situations, “sometimes you just have to laugh at the situation and relax.” The motivated entrepreneur was inspired by the “photogate” and wanted to expand the idea into more profitable areas.

“If everyone is doing it the wrong way, like leaning forward,” she advises. “I was like, ‘We should do a full SKIMS event.’ Take a picture…even if it’s just us. I’ll shoot you…post it and then delete it about 30 minutes later, and then I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t have permission to post these photos for the event.'”
