Hakan Fidan on the role of Iran and Türkiye in global security Israel-Iran conflict


Türkiye’s foreign minister warned against escalation with Iran and explained how Ankara sees the future of regional security.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan warned that attacking Iran would be a mistake and said Tehran was ready to return to talks. He urged a step-by-step diplomatic approach and warned against escalating the situation. Fidan also discussed Türkiye’s stance on the future of regional and global security cooperation and the role it could play in the post-World War II era when the order was fractured and trust among states eroded.
