Senegal coach banned for five matches for ‘unsportsmanlike conduct’ in AFCON final




The Confederation of African Football announced a series of sanctions on Wednesday involving Senegal and Morocco following controversial incidents during the AFCON finals, citing “unsportsmanlike” behavior and conduct. Senegal coach Pape Thiaw was banned for five matches and the Senegalese Football Association was fined $615,000.
