While the world waits more Batman to hit the big screen, James Gunn wants you to know and internalize that Robert Pattinson won’t be double dipping.

on Poisonsa fan asked if Pattinson could play a DCU variant separate from the version he played in Matt Reeves’ Bat-movies. Gunn’s response? A strong “not,” reaffirming previous comments she made about continuing to keep her and Reeves separate from each other.

While he is open about Batman a subtle character to include, he said by 2025 it would “definitely not the plan” for Pattinson to portray two Batmen, despite online chatter hoping that would be the case.
