West Ham have snapped up winger Traore from Fulham


West Ham have completed the signing of winger Adama Traoré Fulham For an undisclosed fee.

The 30-year-old, who worked under current Hammers boss Nuno Espirito Santo during his time at Wolves, has also played in the Premier League for Aston Villa and Middlesbrough.

He will add experience to a West Ham side fighting for their lives at the bottom of the table.

Saturday’s win against Sunderland was their second in a row, following a victory at Tottenham. Moving them within five points of safety.

“I’ve been watching West Ham for a long time. It’s a big club, a big fanbase. I’ve been watching since I was a kid, when I saw a film about West Ham. I know the fans and how much passion they have.

“My mentality is always to do better. It’s always to improve as a player, to help the team as much as I can and I always say, if I’m the same guy as I was yesterday, it’s a day lost.

“I like challenges. I think, of course, we have to go game by game. And that’s what we’re going to do, try to do our best. I think everything comes from belief. And I believe we’ll get what we’re looking for.”

West Ham boss Nuno Traore thrilled with reunion

Traore played the best football of his career at Wolves and Nuno was delighted to have him on board.

“Adama is someone who knows the Premier League very well, and his qualities – both as a player and as a person – will help us between now and the end of the season.

“He will give us a different option in attacking areas. He is also motivated to fight for us and is ready to bring energy, commitment and determination to our challenge.”

Trauer has played 262 times in the Premier League, scoring 14 goals and adding 25 assists.
