This month, there was a second fatal shooting in Minnesota.
After Trump returned to the White House early last year, he hastily stepped up the crackdown on illegal immigrants.
His government soon began mass arrests and mass deportations.
This sparked massive protests against Trump’s immigration policies.
Protesters were particularly angry at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, accusing them of using excessive force.
Minnesota has become the center of anger over the crackdown in recent weeks.
There have been at least three shootings involving immigration officers this month alone, two of them fatal.
So, does this violent suppression have a real purpose?
