UN calls on Israeli forces to leave southern Lebanon, citing ‘continuous destruction’ despite ceasefire




The United Nations peacekeeping force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) expressed concern on Thursday over the “continued destruction” of infrastructure in southern Lebanon despite the ceasefire Israel signed with Hezbollah in late November, calling for the “timely withdrawal” of Israeli troops.
