Boxing journalist Andy Scott has said there is an “outpouring of love” and support for those involved in the crash that injured Anthony Joshua and tragically claimed the lives of his friends Sina Gami and Latif Ayodele.

Sky Sports Boxing’s Andy Scott:

“AJ remains in hospital under observation and recovering. I have contacted their team privately. But it is difficult for everyone to deal with at the moment.

“Social media is a blessing and a curse for stories like this – there’s a lot of detail out there, but there’s also some disinformation.

“I’m not going to speculate other than to say that Joshua needs a lot of time and space to deal with physical and mental issues.

“It’s hard to put into words or even imagine what he’s going through right now.”
