Iran will give a ‘decisive’ response if economic protests destabilize the country, prosecutor says




Iran will respond to any attempt to use ongoing protests fueled by economic hardship to fuel insecurity with a “decisive response,” Prosecutor General Mohammad Movahedi-Azad said on Wednesday. Protests led by traders erupted on Sunday to protest the rising cost of living in the sanctions-hit country.
