Clark’s 2025 WNBA season was cut short in July due to a right groin injury and other soft tissue issues. She was forced to miss the remainder of the Fever’s games as she and Indiana then focused on rehab and recovery. She watched from the sidelines as the Indiana Pacers defeated the eventual champion Las Vegas Aces in Game 5 of the 2025 WNBA semifinals.
After months away from the court, she was named to Team USA’s first-ever training camp with WNBA rivals Angel Reese.


She remains one of the highest-paid athletes in women’s basketball. A large portion of her income comes from endorsement deals, and she has released ads with Nike alongside star-studded guests. Her long-awaited signature line of Nike shoes and apparel is reportedly expected to debut in 2026.

Caitlin Clark took to Instagram on Tuesday to share her optimism for 2026 with fans.
“2025 is the year you are,” Clark wrote. “2026, I welcome you with open arms, let’s make it happen together.”
Clark discussed the current WNBA negotiations. She described the current CBA negotiations as “the most important moment in WNBA history” and players should fight for what they deserve, but stressed the importance of finding a compromise so that basketball can actually happen next season.
