Protests in Iran have spread to students for the third day




The decline in the value of the Iranian rial and the country’s approach to hyperinflation have increased the cost of living for many Iranians. After traders began protesting on December 28, Iranian students joined them on December 30. The protests are the largest the country has known since the ‘Women, Life, Freedom’ movement in 2022.
