Chinese military live-fire drills around Taiwan are entering their second day




On December 30, China continued its military live-fire drills around Taiwan for the second day. 130 military aircraft and 22 warships took part in the exercises near the island in a period of 24 hours. Beijing considers the self-governing island part of its territory and claims to be acting against provocations by separatist forces in Taiwan.
