Manchester United A shock move is being considered to sign one of the best passers in world football in Ruben Amorim.
Manchester United lack creativity without captain
The Red Devils face struggling Wolves at Old Trafford this week, with Amorim confirming his captain Bruno Fernandes will miss the final game of the year.
“Bruno has said he needs to train, but we don’t know,” Amorim said ahead of Tuesday’s game against Wolves, who managed just two points.
“He has no chance against Wolves. No chance. You can write that.”
When Fernandes suffered a muscle injury in the defeat to Aston Villa, he was in the best form of his United career, having scored five goals and provided seven assists in the Premier League this season.
The Portuguese star’s absence has left United devoid of creativity in midfield, with Amorim against Newcastle’s starters Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte having just one assist in the league this season.
Amid rumors that Bruno’s remarkable season could be his last in a red jersey, Ineos are in the market for a player who can provide goals and assists in midfield and have held talks with the Mali star Racine Sinayoko.
Manchester United considering a move for Alexander-Arnold
According to reports in Spain, Ineos may be looking to fill Bruno’s creative void with a new product. Trent Alexander-Arnold’s shocking move.
The former Liverpool star has failed to settle in Madrid, struggling with form and fitness and making just five starts in La Liga despite being one of the regular starters. Real Madrid’s highest earner £280,000 per week.

Manchester United, Newcastle and Manchester City reportedly have “no problem” paying €40m (£35m) if Real Madrid decide to cash out, but the England international now wants to fight for his place.
Alexander-Arnold’s defensive qualities have often been questioned, but there’s no doubt he can replace Bruno’s creativity, with Denis Owen even comparing him to David Beckham.
“It’s fantastic. I think his passing is David Beckham-esque, you have to say that. If you look at the big picture too, you know as a full-back you can see the whole picture and his passing is as good as anyone I’ve seen in the game, really.”
Alexander-Arnold has only provided two assists since moving to Madrid, but he has contributed 67 assists in 259 games in England’s top flight.
