Malaysian and Thai Muay Thai star Aliff Sor Dechapan may be brewing a budding rivalry with undisputed ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Prajanchai PK Saenchai, but he also maintains a huge amount of respect for the Thai icon.
Alif was particularly impressed by how Prajanchai led his teammate Tawanchai to become an absolute force to be reckoned with.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Aliff spoke about Prajanchai’s partnership with Tawanchai and how it helped the latter become a world champion.

Sor Dechapan Athlete said:
“Maybe. He’s a fighter and I think when we get close to our opponent we need to have a fighting look. But yes, I know he played a big role in helping Tawanchai because they come from the same gym.”
Aliff impressively defeated Ramadan “The Scorpion” Ondash via unanimous decision at the recently concluded ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Prime Video.
He is now positioned as the next challenger Prajanchai PK Saenchai’s Strawweight Muay Thai gold medal. Their showdown is expected to take place sometime next year.
