Aura Frame Sale (2025): From Aura Carver to Aura Ink

One of my favorite gift items is a digital photo frame. All ages love them, whether it’s my parents enjoying the old photos they upload or my 3-year-old screaming, “That’s me!” when his own picture scrolls across the screen. Aura’s frames in particular look great and are easy to use.

Aura’s digital picture frames come in a variety of styles, from affordable landscape-only Carver frames to splurge-worthy e-paper Ink frames that can be wirelessly mounted to your wall. Aura also has a whole mat style collection of frames in it that are my personal favorites, and ones that I find myself recommending. No matter which frame style you choose, you’ll get Aura’s app with unlimited photo storage, iCloud and Google Photos compatibility, and the ability to invite anyone to add photos to the frame through the app or the new text-to-frame feature.

Plus, now every Aura frame we like has some sort of discount, some as high as $60 off. Here are all of our favorites and what kind of sales they’re rocking before the holiday season ends.

Mat Digital Photo Frames

Aura mat frames are just as the name suggests—they have a mat-style frame to give them the elevated look of a beautifully framed photo. This is my favorite style and one that you can find in three sizes, from the 10-inch Carver to the larger 15-inch Walden. The larger Walden and Aspen (12-inch) sizes are flat-backed and can be wall-mounted and rotated to sit in either landscape or portrait mode, while the Carver can only sit in tabletop landscape mode. Carver Mat and Walden have the best discount of $30 off.

While the cheaper base Carver is not on sale, the special Stone finish version is on sale and is cheaper than the regular Carver because it has a huge $60 discount from Aura’s site price (although it’s only $10 off the price we usually see on Amazon, but Amazon only has one stone color option while Aura’s site has two). It’s everything we love about the Carver, but with a “rock-inspired” finish that has a more organic, high-end look to it. The Stone is the cheapest frame you can buy right now from Aura.

If you like the idea of mounting your Aura frame but don’t want a power cord hanging underneath it, the Aura Ink is for you. It uses an e-paper screen so it runs off a battery that promises to last about three months, depending on how often it needs to change photos. The default is once per day, and although that seems a little bit compared to the average changing frames of Aura, it is a nice experience to put your best images in the frame and enjoy them all day long. This is the most expensive Aura frame, but it has the most interesting technology and is a $50 discount right now.
